Description
Elongated bugle, used by the Mounted Rifle Corps in the years before the Civil War and into the War’s early years. The trumpet was issued by the Army to enlisted men in 1858. Made from stamped brass with soldered brass wire hooks for attaching to hats or other items. Mounts vertically as shown.
Approximately 3-1/2″ by 1-1/4″. Made in the U.S.A.
