Cartridge Box Sling, Rough Out Dyed Leather, Made in Gettysburg, PA

For all cartridge boxes. This is the rough out leather, adjustable box sling for issue after December 1857, and before September 1862. The smooth ‘bridle’ leather inside allowed for the wearer to easily adjust his Cartridge Box, as it slid more easily over their wool coats. Made by our Master Leathersmith in Gettysburg, PA. Measures approximately 72″ overall length.
