Description

Civil War reproduction, wool back with authentic weave stripe of 1/2″. Comes in all service branches, Blue (Infantry), Red (Artillery), Yellow (Cavalry) and Black ( Militia).
Various Southern states, and some Northern, prescribed the Black tape for militia units, and this practice carried on throughout the war in some Confederate units.
The Union Chevrons have dark blue backgrounds while the Confederates Chevrons have a medium gray backing.
