Description
This is the final version of the First National flag including Kentucky and Missouri, two states which never actually seceded from the Union. The first showing of the 13-star flag was outside the Ben Johnson House in Bardstown, Kentucky. The 13-star design was also used as the Confederate Navy’s battle ensign. It was eventually replaced because of the confusion caused by its similarity to the Stars and Stripes. November 28, 1861 – May 1, 1863
Polyester. Approx 3ft by 5ft
