Description

Your choice of either a Cork & Chain or a Cork & Hemp twine replacement for all metal canteens. Corks with chain stoppers are most commonly associated with issuance through the New York Depot. Twine was common on all others including Philadelphia and St. Louis. It was not uncommon, however, to see corks replaced with whatever style was available.
