Early-War US Belt Plate with Arrowhead Hooks

Description

This early-war US Oval waist belt plate (1857-1863), would be considered a ‘transition’ belt plate for use in early/mid-war. It is lead-filled, stamped brass with arrow hooks on the back for fastening to standard waist belt (LEATH-12). Not for use on on sword belts or NCO belts. Approximate Length: 3-1/2″, Height: 2-1/4″
