Rare SMOOTH BORE full length M 1842 Musket Barrel, Original Tang, Nipple, Bayonet Lug. It has a smooth attractive mix of steel gray and brown patina with one small area minor very light pitting. The bore is Clean, Bright and Shiny with 2 very few small areas of light matted surface. The bore is in excellent condition and should be a great shooter. Nipple can be easily removed. These Model 1842  Springfield or Harper’s Ferry muskets Full length barrels are difficult to locate.
