M1855, M1861, & M1863 Springfield Leather Sling – Heavy Duty, Made in Gettysburg

Description

This leather sling was issued with the Springfield Rifle Muskets from 1855 to 1866. It will fit all three-band Springfield’s as well as the C.S. Richmond, Mississippi, Zouave, two-band Enfield, and some of the carbines. Copied from an original, it measures 47″ (including the brass hook) and is made of  Hermann Oak 7/8oz. undyed leather. Stamped with the “Watervliet Arsenal” mark. Stamped with the “Watervliet Arsenal” mark. Made in Gettysburg, PA.
