Excellent plus to Mint condition, original, Model 1861 Springfield Hammer. The original cutter marks are visible on the face of the hammer. There are no nipple marks from use on the face of this hammer. This will fit and function perfect on all model 1861 Springfield’s and contractor 3 band .58 caliber Civil War muskets.
