P1853 Enfield Bayonet and Scabbard

Description

This Bayonet and Scabbard pairing is for our 3-band Enfield Musket. The British Pattern 1853 Enfield rifle-musket is a favorite of Civil War arms enthusiasts and reenactors alike. Its popularity among period soldiers of both sides is undoubted, having been variously called “the North’s second rifle” and a “regulation Confederate weapon”. Indeed, some 1,078,200 Enfields of all types were imported by both sides during the period 1861-1864. Typically issued with bayonet and scabbard; however, our British pattern Frogg (BAY-007 (Import) or BAY-008 (U.S. Made)) is sold separately. These bayonets are also imported and may require some minor filing to fit.

NOTE: If you have a Euroarms musket you WILL need to do some fitting to make it fit. This can be done with a Dremel Tool
