Description

The John Henry Dance & Brother handgun manufactory began in the winter of 1861-1862 with money being advanced from the state of Texas. The 1862 Dance & Brothers revolver was designed with a mix of features from both the Dragoon and 1851 Navy revolvers. The significant idea behind this revolver’s design was ease of loading so the frame’s recoil shields were removed to make it “flat-sided”. The Dance model features: case hardened steel frame, confederate style octagonal-to-round barrel, blued parts, brass backstrap and triggerguard, and blade front sight. No conversion cylinder is available for this model. Manufactured in Italy.
