Description
For the Cowboy Action Shooters, Civil War or Old West Reenactors, here’s one of our Frontier Series knives that will add greatly to the authenticity of your Persona. This early Frontier favorite features a long, narrow clip-point Bowie style blade that is correct for the early Kentucky period or the later Western Fur Trade era as well. Historically, this Rifleman’s style Bowie knife was used from the early 1700’s to late 1800’s, and was especially popular during the period from the French and Indian War up through the Civil War (roughly 1850-1870).
Our Frontier Series Rifleman’s Bowie Knife is built on a high quality, narrow 10” carbon steel clip-point bowie blade, with the traditional blood groove often found on period fighting knives. Overall length is 15½”. The Rifleman’s Bowie features genuine white smooth bone handles with a stainless bolster and pommel. Full tang-thru-handle construction for utmost strength and durability. Comes complete with a custom fitted, hand-laced brown leather sheath that would be at home on a gunbelt or stuffed inside a high leather boot for concealment, as was often the fashion on the Frontier. Imported.
