Sharps Carbine Original Rear Sight, Model 1859-63

Description

Rare Original Sharps Rear Sight Model 1859-63 rear sight. Sight base spring marked R.S. LAWRENCE PATENTED FEB 15th 1859 which is partially readable. The elevation slide numbers are clear and the slide functions great. The sight has minor light oxidation and will clean to better condition if required. I prefer to let the new owner clean the sight to match their gun. Complete original sights are difficult to find.
