Made of heavy 12oz canvas featuring a double sewn center seam and reinforcements top and bottom. Twenty three button holes and buttons per half. Button holes are machine done and these tents use 4 hole pewter 5/8 inch buttons. Canvas is single fill duck, untreated. This style has become more popular due to its’ larger size. The dimensions are approximately 64″ X 64″. The width of the canvas can vary a couple of inches as it comes from the loom. For standard set-up, three stakes are required per half. Each soldier carried a shelter half and when he bunked down with his pard for the night, the two halves were buttoned together to make one tent. Price is for 1 (one) half.
