This is an Original Springfield 45-70 Carbine or rifle Butt Plate. Very Fine condition with deep clear “US” marking and an attractive blue finish. It will fit and function perfect on any Springfield 45-70 Trapdoor. It will fit all Models including 1873, 1877, 1878, 1879, 1884 Springfield Rifles and Carbines.
