It will fit & function perfect on any Springfield 45-70 Trapdoor Carbine, Cadet or Rifle models, including 1873, 1877, 1878, 1879 1884 and 1888. It will also fit on All Model 1868-70 Rifles & Carbines as well model 1866 rifles & Muskets. This will enhance the look and function of any trapdoor .
