Description

This sight is also called the Buckhorn rear sight. It was the first Springfield 45-70 rear sight with windage adjustment. It will fit and function perfect on any Springfield 45-70 Trapdoor Carbine.

Excellent Condition with clear marking. The ladder and base are marked with a C for Carbine. The ladder flips up easily and the elevation/windage slide works great. This is an original Springfield Model 1878 45-70 Trapdoor rear sight. It was designed for more adjustments to increase accuracy for Carbines. It will also fit all Models including 1873, 1877, 1878, 1879, 1884 Springfield Carbines.
