Trapdoor 1873 dated Breech Block Complete, 45-70 Springfield, early Custer period Model 1873

Description

Rare original Early Model 1873 with deep clear “Model 1873 eagle head U.S.” markings.  It is in Excellent overall condition. Screw threads are in perfect condition. It will fit and function perfect in any Springfield 45-70 Trapdoor Carbine, Rifle or Cadet that has a receiver serial number less than 90,000. These early blocks in this condition are difficult to locate.

If needed order Firing pin (ORI-320C), Firing pin Spring (ORI-320D) and Firing pin Screw ( ORI-320A). It is spring loaded.
