Trapdoor Rifle Barrel, 45-70 Springfield Model 1873-1889, Original

Description

This  is an original full length rifle 45-70 caliber Barrel with original front sight base. It has a smooth brown patina with traces of blue. The rear sight mounting screws and barrel threads are in fine condition.  VP Eagle P  markings visible. The bore is bright and shiny with deep rifling. There are few very small areas of scattered light pitting. This can be used to restore a rifle, build a nice carbine or custom rifle. It will fit all Models including 1873, 1877, 1878, 1879 & 1884.
