Trapdoor Receiver, 45-70 Springfield Model 1873, # 146698

Description

This original Receiver # 146698 with a dull black finish. It will fit and function perfect in any Springfield 45-70. The Barrel and Tang Threads are in great condition. If you are planning to build a rifle or repair an existing 45-70 this will work great. There were 2 small threaded holes added to the rear of the receiver. My guess is they were used for a sight mount. The 2 threaded holes do not affect the fit or function of the receiver to the breech block.
