Description
Tin, beeswax lined canteen made by our Tinsmith, Axel Ulrich of Pennsylvania. This model features a tin body and a tin spout as per the originals, dating back to Cincinnati Depot correspondence beginning on 13 April, 1863. It is unknown why the Cincinnati Depot switched to the tin spout; however, contractors manufactured this type for the depot until the Summer of 1864.
Use the drop down menus to build the exact canteen you would like. Select the type and color of cover, strap type, and cork type or just select none for all and you will just get the tin canteen to attach your own cover on.
