If you are planning to build a Custer carbine or sporting rifle in 45-70 this will set your gun apart from all the rest. This is the best of the best condition.

These dated lock plates were used through the Custer  range. It will fit and function perfect on any Springfield 45-70 Carbine, rifle or cadet. It would be a wonderful addition to any Springfield 45-70. An original lock plate in this condition is impossible to find.
